Recently, at the press conference of the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council, Zhang Liubo, a researcher of the China CDC, gave a detailed answer on non fever patients going to the hospital for medical treatment and how to disinfect correctly.

How to protect non febrile patients from going to the hospital?

First, if patients without fever symptoms go to the hospital, they should try to avoid going to the fever clinic.

Second, before going to the hospital, it is best to reduce the waiting time through online registration, appointment and other forms.

Third, when you go to the hospital, you can wear disposable medical masks and masks above the level of disposable medical masks.

Fourth, it is better not to touch the objects and environmental surfaces in the hospital with your hands and try to avoid contact as much as possible.

Fifth, carry hand disinfectant with you. After touching the public facilities of the hospital, before touching your eyes, nose and mouth, or when leaving the hospital, remember to do hand hygiene. Sixth, if possible, wear gloves.

Does the frequent use of disinfectants affect the body and the environment?

Disinfection is an important part of epidemic prevention and control, which is very important to block indirect transmission. But disinfection must be moderate. Four points to note:

First, do not use chemical disinfectants for the disinfection of articles if physical methods can be used. Hot water at 56 ℃ for 30 minutes can kill the virus. In this case, physical heating and disinfection can be used as much as possible for tableware. It is recommended to boil water for 10 minutes. First, the water may not boil at 100 degrees in some places. In plateau areas, the water may boil at more than 70 degrees or 80 degrees. Two, disinfection of tableware is not only considered New Coronavirus, but also other strong resistant microbes, so boiling water is recommended for 10 minutes.

Second, when using chemical disinfectants to disinfect the air, it must be used in an unmanned indoor environment. Outdoor air disinfection is not necessary.

Third, the surface of the external environment, such as roads, squares and lawns, should not be sprayed with disinfectants repeatedly. Aircraft should be avoided to widely spray disinfectants. If there is a clear local environment polluted by infectious sources, it is enough to use disinfectants for one-time terminal disinfection. Repeated large-scale spraying of disinfectants has the risk of environmental pollution, which should be avoided.

Fourth, a large amount of disinfectant is sprayed on the human body, including forced passage through the disinfection channel, which may make the disinfectant inhaled through breathing and absorbed through the skin. In this case, there may be a risk of damaging human health. We emphasize hand hygiene. The special hand disinfectant for hand disinfection is safe to use many times a day.

After going out and going home, how should coats and clothes be disinfected?

First, the daily coat should be hung directly at the door after going home. Just separate the clothes worn outside from those worn at home. There is no need to disinfect the coat every day.

Second, if you feel that the coat may be contaminated, such as going to the hospital, visiting patients and contacting some people with suspicious symptoms, you need to disinfect the coat. Physical disinfection shall be used as far as possible. If physical disinfection fails, chemical disinfection shall be used.

For high temperature resistant clothes: you can choose 56 ℃ for 30 minutes. If there is a dryer, you can also adjust the temperature to more than 80 ℃ and dry for 20 minutes to achieve disinfection.

For clothes not resistant to high temperature: chemical disinfectant can be used to soak and disinfect, and the operation must be carried out according to the dose in the manual.

① Phenolic disinfectants: phenolic disinfectants sometimes stain chemical fiber materials, which may change color.

② Quaternary ammonium salt disinfectant: if it is used with anionic surfactants such as washing powder and soap, both sides will fail and cannot be disinfected or cleaned.

③ Chlorine containing disinfectant represented by 84 disinfectant: it may fade clothes and bleach.

The above disinfectants can be used to disinfect clothes, but they also have their own shortcomings. Disinfectants should be selected according to the actual situation.
